Introduction

eVidyaloka’s vision is to create knowledgeable and empowered India through quality education. Microsoft’s vision is to use technology to help individuals and communities across sectors, geographies, and age groups realize their full potential. eVidyaloka is collaborating with Microsoft to offer Artificial Intelligence courses to students in 300 schools for certain grades. The Project is named ‘Build Rural Artificial Intelligence Network (BRAIN).’

Scope of the Program

BRAIN aims to build awareness about artificial intelligence for students in 300 rural government schools in seven states of India, namely, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Bihar. This program provides a platform for 300,000 students to be empowered with access to appropriate new-age technological skills and tools. The course is offered in 4 languages (Tamil, Telugu,Kannada and Hindi) eVidyaloka is deploying this program in partnership with Microsoft aligned with “Responsible AI for Youth 2022” program launched by National e-Governance Division, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India
