Learning is more than just completing lessons, it is about ensuring that each child gets equal access and opportunities to participate and grow. At GHSS Sisiya, through eVidyaloka's Digital Classroom Programme, the school has created a learning environment where students feel encouraged, supported, and excited to come to class.
The Class 7 students were already familiar with eVidyaloka, having experienced engaging online classes the previous year. As they moved into the new academic session, they looked forward to continuing their learning journey. Volunteer Teacher Giri Dhar quickly built a strong connection with the class through his energetic and interactive teaching style. His mathematics lessons were so engaging that students often wished they could continue even after the scheduled class ended. On one occasion, when the students requested an extra hour of learning, he gladly stayed back, reflecting the enthusiasm shared by both the teacher and the learners.
Behind every successful digital classroom, however, is a strong support system. At GHSS Sisiya, Class Assistant Narendra played a vital role in ensuring that no student was left behind. He carried extra stationery for students who needed them, provided worksheet pages to those without notebooks, and shared screenshots of lessons so slower writers could complete their notes after class. He also encouraged students to practise one page of handwriting every day, helping them improve their writing speed and confidence over time.
The efforts of the Volunteer Teacher and the Class Assistant together have created a classroom where students can focus on learning instead of worrying about the challenges around them. One inspired students through engaging lessons, while the other quietly removed the barriers that could have prevented them from keeping up.
GHSS Sisiya today stands as an example of what meaningful collaboration can achieve. When dedicated volunteers, committed school support, and eager students come together, classrooms become spaces where every child feels included, encouraged, and empowered to learn.
