Commitment Beyond the Role

At UHS Kapilo in Jharkhand, eVidyaloka’s online classes began in the academic year 2022–23. Like every successful digital classroom, the program relied not only on technology and volunteer teachers, but also on the support of people within the school who believed in the power of education.

One such person is Mr. Krishna Kumar.

As the Headmaster of UHS Kapilo at the time, Krishna Kumar ji played an active role in supporting eVidyaloka’s classes from the very beginning. He regularly encouraged students to attend sessions, interacted with Volunteer Teachers, and ensured that classes ran smoothly. Whenever challenges arose, whether related to infrastructure, classroom coordination, or day-to-day implementation, he worked tirelessly to find solutions.

His support extended beyond administrative responsibilities. During school visits and classroom activities, he remained closely involved, always looking for ways to strengthen the learning experience for children.

What makes his story especially inspiring is that his commitment did not end when his role changed.

Today, Krishna Kumar Ji serves as a teacher at the same school. Although he is no longer the Headmaster, his dedication to eVidyaloka remains as strong as ever. He continues to support the Class Assistant, coordinate with Volunteer Teachers, and encourage students to make the most of every learning opportunity.

For him, quality education is not simply a responsibility, it is a shared mission. He believes that every child deserves the chance to learn well, dream bigger, and create a better future for themselves.

This spirit is especially visible during visits to the school. He takes the lead in coordinating with staff and students, making sure everything is in place and that the visit goes smoothly. Even beyond regular school hours, he remains available and supportive, reflecting the same quiet dedication that has always defined his association with eVidyaloka.

Stories like Mr. Krishna Kumar’s remind us that meaningful change is built through people who continue to care, contribute, and support, regardless of their title or position.

Because when the commitment to children's education comes from the heart, its impact lasts far beyond the classroom.
