From Distraction to Determination: Sakthivel’s Inspiring Journey Back to Learning

Sakthivel, a 6th-grade student from Government Higher Secondary School Pamboor, in Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu, once struggled to stay engaged in the classroom. Battling mental health challenges, he found it difficult to focus during lessons and often appeared disconnected from the learning process. In the early days of attending eVidyaloka’s online classes, Sakthivel would come to school without a notebook, pen, or even a school bag. Instead of participating, he would spend time talking and playing with his classmates, leaving teachers concerned about his interest in education and his overall well-being.

Yet, within just two weeks, an inspiring transformation began to unfold.

One morning, Sakthivel arrived at school carrying his notebook, pen, and bag — a small but powerful sign of change.
