P. Kaviyarasu, a sixth-grade student from Panchayat Union Middle School, Kozhipuliyur, Tamil Nadu, achieved an inspiring milestone by securing first place at the district level in the Environmental Awareness Exhibition. Organized by the Tiruvannamalai District National Green Corps and the Eco Club, the event brought together students from 40 schools to showcase innovative projects promoting sustainability. Kaviyarasu’s project on waste management and the 4R principle: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, stood out among the entries, earning him a cash prize of ₹5,000 and a Certificate of Excellence.
The exhibition celebrated student efforts to combat plastic pollution and encourage eco-friendly practices.
